Greek food Northampton

Our Story

Greek food in Northampton - Maniatiko was born from a love of heritage, hospitality, and honest food.

Though our restaurant is proudly rooted in Northampton, our heart is always in southern Greece — in the recipes passed down through generations, in the scent of lemon and oregano, in the crackle of grilled meats and the comfort of a slow-cooked stew.

Our name comes from the Mani Peninsula, where our inspiration begins. In Mani, tradition is everything. Food is not rushed. Plates are meant to be shared. Guests are treated like family.

We opened Maniatiko to create more than a restaurant — we wanted to build a space where people could slow down, reconnect, and experience the deep, beautiful simplicity of a Greek table.

Since opening, we’ve stayed true to that mission. Every dish is made carefully, using ingredients that speak for themselves — creamy feta, sun-ripened tomatoes, fresh herbs, and the finest olive oil. We honour tradition, but we’re not afraid to add a modern touch when it feels right.

A Taste of Mani

More Than a Meal

Maniatiko isn’t just about food — it’s about philoxenia, the Greek art of making strangers feel like friends.

Whether you’re here for a quick lunch, a family gathering, or a long evening of sharing mezé, wine, and conversation, we hope you’ll feel the warmth of the Maniot spirit from the moment you walk through our doors.

So take your time. Share your table. And let the flavours of Greece carry you away.
